Release calculations are often done in association with I-131 administrations. The formula for releasing a patient is a little intimidating unless you work with it frequently. AMP claims no credit for the contributions for this site but supports it as an excellent reference that is available to the public. As the site suggests, use this at your own risk, and we suggest you share it with your physicist (if you work with one) and the Authorized User who is handling the patient release to be sure everyone is in agreement with the results.
